This academy means a lot to me, and I believe not only to myself, but to my fellow leaders as well. This camp has helped me a lot; it has not only increased my confidence, but it has also made me see my true potential of becoming a leader and making a positive difference in my community. Lastly, it has made me a better person overall.
The people around me were very happy about how I have changed after returning from camp in a positive way, which is why I am grateful that I had the chance to attend the camp.

To me, the academy is more than just a programme, it is a space where I have learned to truly get to know and understand myself. Through the academy, I have learned the importance of doing positive things, even in challenging situations, and taking responsibility for my actions and the impact they have on others.
The academy has also taught me how to work well with different people, understand others for who they are, & cooperate as a team to achieve common goals. It encourages us to turn negative situations into positive ones & to take responsibility for improving our surroundings. Being part of the Columba Leadership Academy has shown me what it means to be a leader who leads with values, respect & purpose. It has inspired me to make a positive difference not only in my school but also in my community, and to contribute to creating a better future for those around me.
Columba leadership Academy is a South African values based programme that helps high school learners like grade 9s, and educators develop their leadership skills in real ways. Columba Leadership is more than just learning about leadership, it's about growing as a person, understanding yourself, and discovering how you can make a positive impact on others.
The academy teaches us how to build strong characters, work well with others and take responsibility for our actions. It also helps us develop skills that will prepare us for the future, like teamwork, communication & problem solving.
The academy encourages us to use what we learn to create positive change not just in our schools, but in our communities as well. We are taught to lead with values, respect, and integrity and to serve others in ways that really matter. Being part of Columba Leadership Academy has shown us how important it is to be leaders who inspire others, makes a difference and contribute to making the world a better place.
